I enjoyed careers because the class taught me about different people and their personalities and how to be a good person. The one topic that stuck with me was the personality talk because it really woke me up and opened my eyes to new things. My favorite activity so far was the Martin Luther King project because I got to take pictures, which I love doing. My least favorite activity that I did not like was the carnival because we never really had a carnival because of the weather. My website will be helpful to me later in life and I can get people to notice me and see what I’m working with. I would like to learn about how to get into people heads and give them a boost of knowledge. The three trips that I will be most excited about, is the college trip because I never really been to a college, the Boces trip because I never knew what BOCES was until now and the job shadow trip because I really want to see what it is like and what it is all about. This class I would rate a 10 because of all the fun things we got to do.
I enjoyed working on the Martin Luther king project because it gave me a sense of how we are all different by the color of our skin also by what we believe in. My role in the project is a speaker and a photographer. I feel good because of the diversity in my school. I think I could have done some more research from home and brought it in to school. I think my team managed their time well by working together to complete the project.
It was important to get the project done so that we can review it before the assembly. Yes, I highly recommend this project for next year’s class because it will open up new doors and give people more knowledge about diversity, as well as learning about Martin Luther king.
